Middle School Mission Week

Middle School Mission Week with the Church of St. Michael and St. George is June 3rd to the 7th.  This event is open to all current 5th-8th (rising 6th - 9th) grade students, and the programming will last from about 8:30am - 1pm each day. The youth spend the week learning about what it means to serve by serving at different non-profits around the city. High Schoolers are also welcome to sign up as volunteers who will be assisting in leading the middle schoolers as they serve throughout the week.  This link will take you to sign up for the middle school mission week!

High School Mission Trip

The High School Mission Trip to Benton Harbor, Michigan is Sunday, July 21st to Friday, July 26th and sign ups are now open! (this link will take you to the sign up) These trips provided me a place to practice putting others first, worshiping God with those from other churches, and deepening the relationships that I have with those from my church. These weeks are also a safe place to ask hard questions about life to those who have experienced a bit more of it than me. I hope that you take some time to think about what it would look like for your youth to spend a week serving in a community different from their own, and to pray for them and the Benton Harbor community we’ll be serving.
