In fulfillment of God’s command to love one another as God loves us, we seek to provide a network of care in times of need, celebrating life’s joys and bearing one another’s burdens and sorrows.

Four or more times a year, teams of parishioners cook and serve the Saturday Peace Meal at St. John's Episcopal Church in Tower Grove.

The Altar Guild prepares the church and chapel for weekly worship and special services, and cares for the linens and vessels used at our altar.
A team of parishioners prays daily for the well-being of those who have requested their support.
Our Acolyte Ministry gives high school youth the opportunity to serve as worship leaders in the 10:30 a.m. service and in special services during the year. Acolyte Masters are adults who shepherd and serve with the acolyte teams and/or serve at...
Experienced drivers are available to periodically transport those who, because of infirmity or age, are unable to drive to medical appointments, church, etc.
Lectors read scripture lessons and lead the congregation in reciting the Nicene Creed and offering the Prayers of the People. Many Lectors also serve as Eucharistic Ministers, who administer the chalices of wine during Holy Communion.
Parishioners arrange the Sunday altar flowers into smaller bouquets to deliver to “mostly at home” parishioners or those grieving a loss or celebrating a special milestone.
