Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

We are pleased to introduce Yvonne Twillman and Sophie Collings who have recently joined our ministry team at St. Peter’s. Yvonne will be our Children and Family Ministries Director and Sophie our Youth Minister. Yvonne has extensive experience as a teacher and as a director of early childhood programs. She did her undergraduate work at Judson College, and she has a M.S. in Elementary Education from UMSL. Sophie is recent graduate of Greenville University where she majored in Biblical Studies. Both are part time positions that replace the openings created by Annie Migdal’s resignation this past spring.

We also welcome Regina Edwards as our new sexton. Look for her on Sundays and wish her a warm welcome.

As the search continues for a full-time associate rector, The Rev. Nathan Haydon, The Rev. Susie Skinner, and The Rev. Sally Weaver have agreed to help provide support as assisting clergy on an as needed basis. Susie and Sally are retired priests of our diocese, and Nathan and his wife moved to St. Louis within the last year from Arkansas where Nathan is canonically resident in the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas. Nathan is also an academic who holds a Ph.D. in English and he will be teaching classes this fall at Lindenwood University. 

As God works in and through each of us at St. Peter’s, our ministry is going to continue to grow and develop in significant ways.
