Below are the Vestry nominees, to be voted in at the Annual Meeting.
Jane Anne Batjer
Jane Anne Batjer is currently a Specialist Counsel for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Over her 30+ year career with the Federal Reserve, she has also worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Her practice areas have been primarily related to governance and operations of Federal Reserve Banks, including ethics. Jane Anne received her B.A. in Honors Studies from Texas Tech University and her J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law. Jane Anne has been a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church since 2012. Originally from Texas, most of her family still lives there. Jane Anne’s son, Christian, and his wife, Alex, live in Dallas. Her brother and his family live in Westlake. Jane Anne’s daughter, Susan, lives in St. Louis and is a curator for the Endangered Wolf Center. Jane Anne’s mother, Jackie, moved to St. Louis in 2023 and attends St. Peter’s. Jane Anne has been involved in various events over her years at St. Peter’s including the estate sale and garden party. She currently helps teach Sunday school. Jane Anne has also been on pilgrimages with St. Peter’s to Greece, Rome, England, and Turkey.
Ben Park
Ben, his wife Mary and their daughter, Sophia have been members of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church since 2013. He continues to be very active in St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church in Homer, Alaska where they lived full time from 2004, when Sophia was born until 2013 when they started spending the school year in St. Louis. Ben and Mary both worked for the McDonnel Douglas Corporation and then Boeing. He was a military pilot in the U.S. Air Force and then in the Air National Guard for 22 years. While working at Boeing, he was involved in domestic and international business, in marketing, engineering, flight test, program management and business leadership. For the past year, he has been working with the Clergy and the vestry to implement St. Peter’s strategic plan.
David Stuart
David and his wife Mary moved to the St. Louis area and became members of St. Peter’s in early 2023. After a long career in Energy Services, mostly in Texas, David was recruited to become President of Unico, Inc., an HVAC manufacturer headquartered in Arnold, MO. David grew up in the deep south, and was fortunate to meet the love-of-his-life, a Mid-Western girl from Cincinnati, while both attended the University of Alabama. They have two children: son (Mason) who resides in Austin, Texas, and daughter (Katherine) and son-in-law (Jacob) who live in Boerne, Texas; and they are expecting their first grandchild this summer! David enjoys serving on the St. Peter’s Safety Committee and Building & Grounds Committee, and loves participating in the Wednesday morning bible study. In his spare time, David enjoys golf, hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Katelyn Wilson
I am a St. Louis native and have been coming to St. Peter’s with my family since 2023. I am probably most easily recognized by the flock of children (Walter, Maxine, Clara, Betty, and Stanley) that I am always herding around with my husband, Matt. A nurse practitioner by trade, I worked in clinical psychiatry for about a decade, including service in the Air Force, before switching to academia in 2022. When I am not changing diapers, homeschooling my kids, or grading papers, I like to bake sourdough bread, garden, and read. I am a relentless extrovert with a passion for people and have deeply enjoyed the various ministries I have been involved in at St. Peter’s!
