St. Peter's Cares Is Here for You... It's True!

Did you know that you may request a meal, a ride, or prayers from St. Peter’s Cares and a Shepherd will respond within 24 hours to get the information our ministry teams need to be able to help?  Just write to or call 993-2306 ext 125.  If you are unsure about asking for support, consider the experience of fellow parishioners, Cheryl and Randy Meyer:

Randy and I would like to thank everyone on all the St. Peter’s Care Teams for all the outpouring of prayers, love, and kindness which came our way and supported us before, during, and after our surgeries this year.  This was a very difficult time for both of us.

We felt strengthened by everyone’s prayers, support, and caring ways.  We can’t say enough good things about these teams!  The prayers were very important to us because they gave us an underlying strength to face the unknown in our time of need.  We felt true support from the congregation.

The team who made and delivered the food was also phenomenal!  Each dish was carefully prepared with love, care, and support.  (Even taking into consideration any food allergies, special diets warranted by surgeries, and also likes and dislikes of certain foods.)  It was such a relief to not have to worry about running to the store or cooking when you have to take care of your loved one.

We are recommending that should you get sick or discover that you need surgery or are in the hospital, please call on these teams to help you move through the overwhelming feeling of darkness into the light of healing. They are angels in disguise just waiting to help you and make your day.
