Register Now: "Our Community Listens"

This May, St. Peter's will host a three-day course from the Chapman Foundation for Caring Communities called "Our Community Listens."
In a world where differences often divide us, this course teaches the critical skill of listening—a tool that fosters unity through our shared humanity, fuels genuine connections, and is essential for achieving positive outcomes in confrontations. In a society where we are taught to debate and talk, this course answers the question: when do we truly learn to listen and connect?
Our Community Listens is a three-day communication skills training offering a transformational learning experience to strengthen relationships, align teams, and build stronger communities.
During the course, you will:
- Examine your behavioral tendencies and how to better communicate with others
- Explore how the Communication Cycle forms the foundation of your interpersonal communication
- Learn how to listen to connect with others
- Appreciate the impact your nonverbal behavior has on your verbal communication
- Develop a more effective way to handle confrontation
- See and celebrate the good in others
Registration ends April 11. Contact Zack Rugenstone at with any questions!
