Lenten Book Study: The White Stone
Lent is often seen as a time of spiritual transformation and growth. One way in which people practice a Lenten spirituality is to give something up and make a change. But what happens when you go through a change you didn’t expect, ask for, or even want? Scholar and spiritual writer Esther de Waal works through this question in her book The White Stone: The Art of Letting Go, where she reflects on her own loss, illness, solitude, and the identity we have in Christ as we experience change. The Lenten Book Series will be held on Thursdays during Lent (2/23, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23, 3/30) at 11:00 a.m. in the Elliot Room. Please contact Rev. Dr. Nathan John Haydon for more details.
