The eighth annual joint service of Choral Evensong sung by the St. Peter’s Choir and the Choir of the Church of St. Michael & St. George, Clayton (Joseph Arndt, choirmaster), will be held on Ascension Day, Thursday, May 29, at 6:30 p.m. here at St. Peter’s. This festive service of evening prayer will include music by Charles Villiers Stanford, Gerre Hancock, and Gerald Finzi. A reception to follow in the Undercroft.
