Flock the Yard Fundraiser
St. Peter's Youth is looking forward to raising money for Best Buddies and putting smiles on the faces of parishioners. We will migrate a flock of flamingos to your friend's yard in turn for a donation. If you do NOT want to see a flock end up in your yard, then you can purchase anti-flocking insurance. Email Annie at

As stated on the Best Buddies website, "Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)." The Missouri chapter of Best Buddies Missouri "started in 2013 with the goal of helping the Show-Me State better understand, accept and include people with IDD. Missouri currently offers five Programs led by three mission pillars; Friendship, Jobs and Leadership Development. All programs are designed to foster more equitable, diverse, inclusive, collaborative and accountable communities. The vision for Missouri is to offer all eight Best Buddies Programs by 2020, including the introduction of Best Buddies Jobs." The St. Peter's Youth group hopes that this fundraiser can aid Best Buddies Missouri in achieving their goal.
