Children's Art Show

Call for Entries: Children's Art Show at St. Peter's!

Parents and grandparents! Aunts and uncles! The Gallery of St. Peter’s is hosting a Children’s Art Show — and we want to feature artwork by the children you love, no matter how old they are now.

This joyful exhibition will celebrate the creativity and imagination of young artists — past and present. The artists do not need to attend Sunday School or even live in St. Louis. If you’ve been holding on to your grown child’s first-grade masterpiece, now’s your chance to share it with the parish and community!

Artwork details:

  • Two-dimensional pieces only (paintings, drawings, collages, etc.)

  • Each piece should be framed and wired on the back for hanging. (If you need guidance or local framing recommendations, we’re happy to help.)

  • If a work isn’t wired, we may still be able to display it — but wired frames work best with our hanging system.

The show will hang through December and Christmas, filling our gallery with color and joy. While we know these works are keepsakes, artist sales are allowed if your budding (or grown-up) artist is interested!

A reception with refreshments and art activities is being planned — stay tuned for details!

We’re beginning to collect artwork now, up until the show dates. Submissions can be brought to the collection table in the Undercroft, where artwork information forms will be available. Each piece must be accompanied by a completed form.

Questions? Please contact Nancy Grimes at or (314) 603-3582.

Each submission needs to be accompanied by a filled out artwork information form.
