Nov. 12   Extended Sunday School Service Sunday/Episcopal City Mission Bags

Children will be stuffing Thanksgiving Goody Bags for students and children in Juvenile Justice System.  We will talk about the importance of loving those that have made mistakes.

Nov. 17   Family Pajama Movie Night 6:30-8:00 PM

Come dressed in pajamas and enjoy a movie night in the Undercroft.  We will watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and Garfield’s Thanksgiving, with an intermission to create your own trail mix snack.

Nov. 19   Thanksgiving Celebration during Sunday School

Children will work together on a Thanksgiving project and enjoy a sweet treat.   

Dec. 2   Family Christmas Cookie Decorating 10:00-11:30 AM

Join us in the Undercroft to decorate Christmas cookies, make  crafts and read Christmas books.  Bring friends, neighbors, and relatives!

Dec. 3      Family Advent Wreath Making

This event is held In the Undercroft after the 8:00 and 10:30   services. Bring your family to make an advent wreath for the holiday season.  Take home bags with wreath materials will be available.   

Dec. 3      St. Nicholas Day Celebration during   Sunday School

St. Nicholas Day is Dec. 6, but we will leave our shoes out in the hallway for him to make an early visit.  We will learn about St. Nicholas and his mission. 

Dec. 10    Extended Sunday School Service Sunday

Children will make Christmas cards that will be delivered to a local senior living facility.

Dec. 10  Gingerbread House Decorating  3:15-4:45 PM, in the Undercroft   

Cost $12  per family or group                       

One gingerbread house kit will be provided for each group. Participants can request that their house be pre-built. Each group will have an hour to transform the house into a holiday work of art.  Then enjoy hot cocoa and gingerbread cookies while admiring each other’s creations.

Dec. 15  Christmas Eve Pageant Sign Up

Preparation for the Christmas  Pageant has begun!  Use the QR code to sign your child up for this December 24th event.  Deadline for sign-up is Dec. 15.

Dec. 15   Parents Night Out “Polar Express” 5:30-8:30 PM Cost $15 per child. Come dressed in pajamas! 

Children 3 and older can be dropped off for an evening centered on the Polar Express movie, with a pizza dinner and crafts. We will  end the evening with a hot chocolate bar and pretzel rods.

Dec. 16     Pageant Practice for Christmas Eve  9:00-10:30 AM

Children participating in the pageant are required to attend the rehearsal.   Parents can bring children to the Sunday School  classrooms to try on their costumes, and then we will rehearse in the Sanctuary until 10:30 AM.

Dec. 17      Birthday Party for Jesus during Sunday School

We will celebrate the birth of Jesus during Sunday School.  Children will enjoy a birthday treat and bring back a goody bag with surprises that highlight the meaning of the birth of Christ.

Dec. 24  Christmas Eve Pageant 4:00pm

Children should arrive at the Undercroft at 3:00 PM. Have your child go to where his or her costume is and get dressed.  Sheep and angels can wait until 3:15 to arrive.   Your child will return to you immediately following the pageant for the rest of the service.

Jan. 15       Epiphany Sunday Celebration in Sunday School

We will celebrate Kings Day on January the 15th  during Sunday School.

July 29-Aug. 1, 2024   Vacation Bible School  9:00 AM-3:00 PM

St. Peter’s will be offering Bible School at the end of July for ages 6-12 year-olds. Join us for a week of fun and learning.  Bible school will be a four-day, full day event this year.  Use the QR code to pre-register your child.
