Bible Study (in person and zoom) Begins Next Week!

Bible Study (in person and zoom) Begins Next Week!

In Person Bible Study: Beginning September 8, for six consecutive Wednesdays join the Rev. Susie Skinner in the Elliot Room at 10:30 a.m. for “The Five Core Stories of the Old Testament.”  Focused on five stories drawn from the Books of Genesis, Exodus, and Joshua, the class will consider the importance of the concept of story in the Bible generally, and discover how five core stories of the Hebrew Bible both informed the faith of the ancient Israelites and still today provide a basis for understanding the Christian New Testament.  Susie will weave the five core stories into an 11:30 a.m. celebration of Holy Eucharist in Grace Chapel, which will follow each class.  Consistent with the parish’s covid safety measures, to protect the wellbeing of all participants, we ask that everyone attending bible study be fully vaccinated. If you would like to participate in the class or have questions about it, please contact the Rev. Kelly Carlson at by September 7.  All are welcome to join in celebrating the Holy Eucharist, every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.

Zoom Bible Study: Beginning September 10, all Zoomers are invited to join in the resumption of early (7:00 a.m.) Friday morning bible study.  Put on your slippers to travel to your laptop or tablet and tune in to help decide what this adventuresome, and comfy, group of bible explorers will study next.  Here is the Zoom link for next Friday’s class:
