Advent Lessons and Carols

A Service of Lessons and Carols for Advent will be held on Sunday, December 10 at 5:00 p.m. This service reflects the Advent season’s growing anticipation. Music by William Byrd, Michael Wise, Igor Stravinsky, Lennox Berkeley, Elizabeth Poston, Ned Rorem, Jane Marshall, Malcolm Archer, Judith Weir, and Melissa Dunphy.

The service is preceded by a recital of Advent organ music beginning at about 4:35 p.m. A reception will follow the service in the Undercroft.
