“Almighty and everlasting God, Creator of all things and giver of all life, let your blessing be upon all creatures, and especially on these animals we bring before you this day.”
Whether your beloved pet is furry, feathered, or of the scaly variety, all are invited to St. Peter’s annual blessing of the animals on Saturday, October 1st. We will gather on the front lawn on a beautiful Saturday morning to give thanks to God for those special members of our family who give us so much, and ask for so little in return. Blessings, and treats, will abound! Please bring lawn chairs or blankets if you would like to sit down with your furry friends during the service.
